One Of My Favorite Lead Generation Techniques (and it’s SUPER EASY!)

One of my favorite lead generation techniques is a concept I call “keyword sniping”.

It’s easy to implement, it’s dirt cheap (the price of a domain name) and it’s highly scalable.

Here’s how it works…

1. Go to google.com and type in “google free keyword tool”. This will pull up the Google Keyword Tool (it’s completely free).

2. In the keyword generator box I’ll type in a handful of keyword phrases that relate to my niche market. For example, If I’m working on getting leads for a weight loss campaign I’ll type in words like; how to lose weight, safe way to lose weight, fast way to lose weight, etc.

You get the idea.

They’ll give you dozens or often hundreds of keyword phrases for your market.

3. Sort the “Monthly Global Searches” column from smallest to largest. This will tell you how many times that phrase is searched every month. Ideally, you’re looking for phrases here with at least 500 monthly searches (caution: the more searches the more intense the competition will be).

4. Take several of the keywords that have at least 500 monthly searches and do a search for the actual keyword at google.com, but put the keyword phrase in quotations. This will tell you the number of competing sites that you’re up against. You want this number to be less than 40,000. We’re going after the low hanging fruit.

5. Once you have a few keyword phrases that meet your criteria, then you’ll head over to godaddy or hostgator and register the domain of that exact keyword phrase. Always try to get a “.com”.

6. Build out a data capture page using the free site builder at your registrar or use a free site builder like the one at blinkweb.com. It’s quick and easy to use. And it’s free.

7. Optimize the page for 2-3% keyword density. If you have 300 words on the page, have your exact keyword phrase in the message 6-9 times and make sure it’s in the title tag, description tag and in a headline on the page as well.

Here’s some examples of this process in action…

Go to google.com and search for “how to recruit mlm ” (without the quotations). This is a domain for a niche that I operate in. You’ll see the domain www.howtorecruitmlm.com on #6 (of organic results) of page 1 on google. . This domain alone gets me 5-7 leads a month. My only cost is the domain which is about $10.00 a year. So, yearly I get about 70 leads from this one domain and it cost me 10 bucks. You can do the math….it’s dirt cheap on a per lead basis. For this domain I’m spending less than .15 cents per lead!

You can check out the same process for another phrase “how to build downline” (without quotes). This phrase is the number 1 search result in Google.

Another example of this process in action is do a search for “mlm training material”. This is #7 on page 1 in Google.

You can do the same with just a couple hours of “work”!

I use this same process in the handful of niche markets that I operate in. There’s always low hanging fruit just waiting for you.

8. Here’s where we put the process on steroids.

Just registering the domain name as the keyword phrase will get you some traffic…but that’s not enough. Now we want to get 3-5 articles and submit them to ezinearticles.com, goarticles.com and articlesbase.com.

Have a link in the article and one more in the resource box that points to your new data capture page. If you prefer, you can also write press releases and submit them to the free online directories…you’re looking for incoming links here.

That’s it!

Remember you’re going after the low hanging fruit here – don’t over-complicate this process. If every domain you generated made you just 5 leads a month…what would happen if you had 20 domains doing the same thing?

If you enjoyed this quick lead generation tip, hit the like or share button below and don’t forget to post a comment and let me know your thoughts!

All the best,

Stepping stones to greatness & getting my teeth kicked in…

If I had a nickel for every time I heard someone say, “I’m done…this just isn’t working”, I’d be on the Forbes 100 richest people of the world list.

The reality is that most people quit when they’re on the verge of greatness.

They don’t know it, but they were on the 1 yard line…mere feet from scoring.

What they didn’t realize was that all of the failures they experienced were actually bringing them one step closer to greatness. All the failed closing attempts, the squeeze page converting at a paltry 5%, the autoresponder emails that didn’t flow or read well…

They all served a very important purpose.

Deep down within you, those set backs were actually making you piles…thick piles of sweat equity. The gains just haven’t been recognized yet.

“Delayed sweat equity”.

My first 5 or 6 years as an “entrepreneur” I thought I was doing everything “right”. I was promoting and advertising my business like there was no tomorrow. After school got out I’d head to my job at the El Mirage Farmer’s Market and trim produce and make sure the shelves were fully stocked. After I was off for the day and all day on the weekends, I’d go pass out fliers, talk to strangers and a lot of other traditional stuff.

I didn’t realize it at the time, but I was paying myself huge dividends…the only problem was that it would take years for them to be recognized.

It was a stepping stone. Nothing more, nothing less.

I was growing.

I was gaining incredibly powerful knowledge (that didn’t make much sense at the time, but it certainly did later).

More sweat equity.

The dividends were accumulating…they just hadn’t been “recognized”…yet.

Getting My Teeth Kicked In…Again

During my senior year of High School I purchased a gold plating machine. I think I spent about $4,000.00 on it and it was practically every dime I had to my name.

The unit I bought (which are A LOT cheaper these days) looked very close to this one.

Gold Plating Machine (similar to the one I bough for 4k)

The company made it sound so easy.

Their business building “instructional manual” was a 42 page paperback “book”.

That should have everything I need to be successful, right?

I was off to the races.

All I had to do was hand out business cards, go to the local car shows and hit up dealerships and I’d be making like 70k a year.

Easy, right?

Hold your horses…

I knew nothing about running a successful business.

I knew nothing about creating a “presence” and differentiating myself at the trade shows and when it came to pitching dealerships…that was pretty interesting.

For the first week after I got my machine I spent quite a bit of time playing with it and getting to know exactly how it worked. The name of the business was “Royal Plating” and my tag line was “Plating Fit For A King”. I had a few shirts made up, got the business cards done and had my logo professional done.

I was in business and I was destined for success.

BOOM!

It’s all so easy, right?

Kicked in my teeth…

I went to the first dealership about a week after I got the unit and was literally laughed off the property.

I felt like I had my teeth kicked in.

It was one of the most embarrassing moments of my life. The receptionist refused to let me speak with the GM and the next thing I know I had the service department manager and a sales guy escort me to my vehicle and informed me that if I wasn’t off the premises in 2 minutes they’d be calling the police to escort me.

I got the picture.

The next day I put my big boy britches on and went to another dealership not too far down the road from the prior one.

This experience was very similar to the first with the only difference that the receptionist was very clear that there was no soliciting on the property and informed me to leave immediately before she made any “phone calls”.

I obliged.

Feeling sick to my stomach, I really didn’t know what to do at this point.

I had to change my regiment…my approach wasn’t even getting me in front of a decision maker.

My stomach was knotted. I felt gross. I dropped 4k on a paper weight, I spent another few hundred bucks on shirts, a company logo, cards, etc.

I went back to the drawing board.

I grabbed the yellow pages and began calling dealerships.

After the 4th or 5th call of getting just about the same response, the light bulb began flickering…although it was pretty faint.

I continued to get the response that “we already have a plating company…”.

Blah, blah, blah.

More importantly, they were all part of the “good ‘ol boy club”.

They had been doing business with the same company for years…in some cases 15 years or more.

Marketing using the approach I was using was a dead end.

Again, I had to switch gears.

I had been focusing on larger lots (because I wanted a big business fast, right?).

Big mistake…

BUT…

It was another big stepping stone.

I decided to focus on tiny used car lots.

Car lots that had less than 20 cars in total.

I could feel the difference immediately.

From the moment I walked onto their lot I was either speaking directly with the owner or with his/her relative.

There were no threats being made to get off the lot or the police would be called.

Many of these businesses were brand new or less than a year or two old.

I discovered that although some had been in the industry for years, this was their first car lot. They didn’t have an established rolodex of contacts like the larger dealerships had.

They weren’t part of the “good ‘ol boy club”.

It was a completely different environment.

A step away from greatness…

It didn’t take long for me to get into a good groove.

I was able to offer my services several times over the course of a weekend because there was little to no resistance…

I was able to refine my pitch.

I was able to get respond to their questions and concerns immediately and with confidence.

Over the next couple of weeks after hitting a dozen or so smaller used car lots, I had picked up my first 3 clients.

The best part is that with each client, I would end up doing plating 5-7 vehicles. I’d do the bumpers, chrome trim, emblems and mirrors.

Each vehicle was worth a couple hundred bucks for the completed project so it started adding up pretty quickly.

Here I was, a punk 17 year old kid making $400-$700 a week working less than 15 hours or so at it (only after school and I still had my job at the El Mirage Farmers Market).

At any point in your business building efforts, regardless of the products & services you’re marketing, you’re a step away from greatness.

Just one step.

Don’t over analyze this.

With the home based business stuff I was doing, I had to realize that it’s a lot easier to build when I had prospects chasing me and not the other way around.

With the gold plating business I had to change my approach a couple of times before finally discovering a different angle that proved to be highly effective.

My question to you is this…

What change, what one thing can you do differently starting today that will make a positive impact on your business going forward?

It could be something as basic as tweaking a data capture page and testing a few different versions of it.

Maybe it’s a conference call you have or a webinar…maybe adjust the offer, create a stronger guarantee, throw in a more meaningful bonus, etc.

Let me know your thoughts on this topic and don’t forget to hit the “LIKE” button and “SHARE” it too!

Get out there and do it because YOU REPRESENT GREATNESS.

All the best,

This blog post a bit long winded…I invite you to kick back, grab a beverage and give this your undivided attention for the next 10 minutes or so.

I’m going to address a “manner”, more like an approach that can be utilized for you to put yourself into profit as quickly as possible – without experiencing information overload or feel like you’re being pulled in 17 different directions.

UNSEXY Alert: Some of this post will contain content that isn’t sexy or glamorous. Just honest, straight forward business building nuggets that I believe you’ll gain from.

Most people that begin a home based business fall into believing 1 of 2 very different categories.

Category #1: They believe they can build their business almost entirely online…from the “get go”.

Category #2: They believe they must do it “in person”, approach strangers, make a list of their warm market, etc.

I don’t believe in either of those approaches – at least not initially anyway.

Building a business revolves around one thing – YOUR SKILL SET. Your ability to not only generate a lead, but to guide that lead through a marketing funnel and bring in a healthy percentage of that data.

This is not an overnight process – it requires practice, training and repetition. The lead doesn’t make the marketer…the marketer makes the lead.

Anyway, the reason I’m sharing this is because there’s a simple, basic and effective approach that will build your skill set and put cash in your pocket as quickly as possible.

Here’s the nuts and bolts…

When someone’s first getting started in a business, put together a prospecting script and presentation call – and purchase “product buyer files”. You can get them for f-r-e-e or worst case, you’ll spend a couple hundred bucks if you can’t get a “test file”.

Now this isn’t sexy – and it’s sure not glamorous, but it does the MOST IMPORTANT thing to you that one should be concerned about…it helps to build your skill set and teaches you one the beginning phases of one of the most important things when it comes to marketing – building your marketing funnel.

Calling these leads isn’t going to make you rich (although you will bring in new associates). It’s designed to confirm the “pillars”, the foundation, of your campaign are dialed-in and proving to be effective, build your skill set and it allows your new associates to immediately plug into a system that will net them results as soon as they start working the system.

Let’s call this phase 2…

Once you’ve confirmed the pillars are dialed in and you’ve made some adjustments (both on your prospecting script to get more “bookings” to your presentation call or webinar and on the presentation itself so you’re maximizing your closing numbers), now I’d recommend starting to generate leads online. At the SAME TIME, head to cj.com or clickbank.com and grab an affiliate product to offer as a funded proposal while you’re building your list.

Side Note: Long term, you’ll want to create your own inexpensive informational product to offer to your list and get affiliates to market your product, but for now, offer someone else’s product so you can start putting money back into your pocket and you don’t have to worry about customer service, processing orders, handling refunds, product creation or any of that stuff).

Start with a super simple data capture page and one source of traffic. That’s it – keep things simple and focus on maximizing conversion rates. The easy part is “ramping up” and scaling once you’ve got a site that’s performing well.

Don’t use a company site or a replicated site – build a data capture page yourself or outsource someone else to do it from guru.com, odesk.com and even checkout places like fiverr.com for some images and graphics. You can get a SWEET looking capture page done these days that looks HOT for less than $30.00.

There’s no reason you can’t be driving traffic to a simple squeeze page and start generating your own leads where the site positions you (not the company, your upline or your products) within the next 24 hours. Again, the real key here is to keep it simple. Throw up a simple data capture page with a headline, a handful of bullet points and the data capture box. Don’t forget to connect this to your autoresponder account.

Initially, focus on just one source of traffic. Once you get proficient at that source (doesn’t matter whether you’re using solo ads, banners, FB Ads, AdWords, articles, etc) begin “branching” out and add one more stream of traffic. Eventually, you’ll have 7 or 8 different forms of traffic (never put all of your eggs in one basket) driving quality visitors to your site 24/7…nonstop.

The 3rd phase in this process is to begin hosting teleconference calls, webinars and AUTOMATING much of your sales process.

This is where things really begin to get FUN. The vast majority of the time when you read an email or watch a video about a guru making hundreds of thousands of dollars in less than a day or in under an hour or two, it’s because they’re working in the phase I’m talking about now.

Let’s call this the “Mega Money Phase”

Sounds kinda cheesy…but that’s really what this part is all about. As you’re building your list of prospects (your database) you can invite them to webinars, teleconferences and make big bucks FAST…think about this…

If you have 100 people on a live webinar that you’re hosting – and you’ve got a solution to a problem that they’ve got, there’s no reason you won’t have 10-20 of your audience purchase what you’ve got.

Well…if they’re signing up into your XYZ business you now just added 10-20 new associates in less than 90 minutes.

Pretty sweet.

During this phase you should be automating some of your business as well. Take advantage of playing back recorded teleconference calls & webinars.

Create your own informational products and let your database know that you’re accepting affiliates for the program. Build a separate database for those that wish to market your informational product(s). You can literally setup an account at clickbank today and be selling your new product in less than 3-4 business days. It’s not a long process, but it does take some elbow grease – the benefit greatly outweighs any downside here. You’ll get a check twice a month from Clickbank…for doing nothing once it’s setup.

This is true “do it once and forget it” style marketing. Set it up and practically forget it…then watch the checks come in like clockwork.

The bottom line here is to always focus on building your skill set. Ask yourself daily, “What’s one thing I can do today to become a better marketer?” There is a very direct relationship between what you’re bringing to the table and the size of your checking account.

It is true….to get to the end of the rainbow we usually have to walk through a whole lot of mud and slop to get there.

Focus on the basics – the pillars of your campaign. As your skill set improves then begin incorporating more advanced techniques into your arsenal. At the same time you should be teaching your team on the basics so they can be progressing as well.

Stop looking for the “perfect” automated solution for hands-off income. It will come through the actions that you take and the systems that you put together. There is no magic button other than through your understanding and application of direct response marketing.

I hope you found this piece informative. This is the same map that I personally use with almost every business that I start – it’s also the same “map” I share with my top clients, many of which are earning nice 6-figure incomes.

Put it to use and let’s have fun!

All the best,

There’s only a couple of reasons that prospects say “no” to our offers. Before I dive in it’s important that we briefly discuss the “context” of the conversation.

Most people believe that closing is the real challenge and the most difficult part of a transaction. I couldn’t disagree more.

Let me explain.

When prospecting is done PROPERLY, closing becomes nothing more than a customer service exercise. Answering a couple of questions and closing the deal – easy as pie, but to make this happen, we must focus the BULK of are marketing efforts on how to effectively prospect.

That’s the REAL key.

Most of the time, our networking companies will tell us that everyone and anyone is an ideal prospect. That’s a surefire way to set yourself up for a lot of rejection…and long, frustrating days.

One of our most relevant jobs as marketers is to “sort” and “filter”. We hear this phrase often, but very few discuss “how to” make it happen (that’s the real purpose of this email).

This is nothing more than a process of weeding out the curious and the tire kickers from the serious. Whether you’re using the Internet, offline marketing techniques or the phone (or ideally, a combination of all 3 platforms), we’re “sorters”.

Nothing more, nothing less.

It’s our primary focus to put prospects into 2 categories…

1. The “wannabees” (the folks that waste your time)

2. The “players”

The faster you can put prospects into each of those piles, the faster your business will build. The more time you can spend in category #2, the more productive you’ll be and the more benjamins your bank account will have.

When someone tells me their closing rate is like 1 in 15 or 1 in 20 I have an immediate hunch where the real problem exists – their prospecting needs to be ironed out. Again, regardless of what platform someone is using (not to go off topic, but if one is generating leads online and using the Internet as their primary business building tool, their closing rate may only be 2 or 3 out of every 100 leads coming in – the “net” closing numbers will vary by the platform being used, but the concepts don’t change from one medium to the next).

You’re never going to close 100% of your audience…regardless of what marketing platforms or channels you’re using (again, hopefully you’re using all 3 mentioned above), but when prospecting is done properly, your closing numbers will GO THROUGH THE ROOF and your life will become a lot easier because you’re dealing with qualified, screened prospects who have already gone through your “weeding” out process. They’ve gone through your marketing funnel…

The RIGHT prospect will only say no for 2 reasons…

1. They genuinely don’t have the money (often this is not the case, but they’re afraid to tell you the truth (see #2 below).

Or…

2. They don’t believe you. They’re skeptical. This also falls into “I don’t think YOU can fix my problem”.

Those are the only 2 reasons a prospect won’t buy.

When you’re prospecting correctly and taking your prospects to a presentation call or a webinar (to leverage your time – never “pitch” prospects one-on-one…it’s time consuming and not an effective way to leverage your time) you’ll seldom have a prospect come away from the call or webinar saying something to the effect “this isn’t for me” or “I’m not interested” because you QUALIFIED them PRIOR to your presentation.

They had to go through a couple of hurdles (as part of your filtering process) before they could even listen to your presentation call (or webinar).

During your prospecting you asked a basic “interest getting question” (let’s pretend for a moment the core of your campaign is structured around helping people lose weight), “If I could honestly show you how to lose 13 lbs in 30 days…safely and without counting calories – and show you how to do that for free, would that be worth 20 minutes of your time to get that done?”

Later during the prospecting, I’ll get a firm time commitment that they’ll be listening to the call or webinar and get 2 confirmations that they’ll be listening at the specified time.

When you get 2 confirmations your “show” rate (the amount of prospects that follow through on their commitment) should be in the 70-85% range).

Remember, put the emphasis of your filtering on the prospecting side of the equation – it will make your closing a walk in the park.

If a prospect has a want or a need for something but they’re not willing to be “inconvenienced” to be exposed to more information, it’s not your prospect.

If one can’t commit to spend 20 minutes (or whatever the length is in your case), what they’re really telling you is that they don’t want/need what you have bad enough for them to sacrifice a bit of their time in exchange for a solution. NEXT!

A prospect who’s willing to jump through a couple of hurdles and recognizes they have a want or a need for a solution to X (whatever their problem/concern is) – that is your prospect.

Just because someone recognizes an issue or is seeking a solution to a problem (or perceived problem) they have, doesn’t mean they’re willing to spend money on it. This is why prospecting correctly is paramount to increasing your closing rates.

Having an effective marketing funnel in place is KEY to getting the RIGHT prospects.

Here’s an example…

If you’re leading with weight loss and you have a marketing campaign structured around this central “theme”, you may have every 2 or 3 of your follow up autoresponder emails (and some of your broadcast emails too) invite your list to pick up their phone and call you for a complimentary “needs assessment” – give them a couple of bullet points stating who this is for…and who this isn’t for (qualifying them inside the email).

Give them a sense of urgency (you’re taking no more than 20 callers this week, you’re only taking calls for the next 5 hours, etc). When they call, filter them to ensure it’s a quality candidate (so you’re not wasting your time or theirs), then book them to a presentation call or webinar.

This process sound familiar?

This is one of the processes I use to “sort” and “filter” prospects. It’s simple, but extremely effective.

Another, more advanced strategy, is when you create your own informational product (when, not if) and you sell it online for say $50 bucks or whatever price point (ideally, less than $100) only call the buyers of that product and also offer them a f-r-e-e consultation when they buy it as a bonus and allow them to call you (the ones who don’t call, you call them).

Reach out via phone, confirm they got their download OK of the product, ask ‘em a few questions (how long have you been suffering from “X”, how many different solutions have you tried, etc – then let them know you’ve got something they need to take a peek at. Invite them to your presentation call or webinar.

You’ll be HUGELY surprised by how high your closing rate can be from this strategy alone – I have months that I’ll close 70% of the prospects who have purchased informational products into a much higher package).

You get the point.

Focus on better prospecting and closing becomes a breeze.

All the best,

The most powerful way of building your business is through the power of leveraging. That’s one of the things that makes this industry as great as it is. You can have associates out there working in other states, in other countries or right in your backyard, all while you’re out playing golf or hanging out with the munchkins.

When one learns the immense power of leveraging, they really have just given themselves the ability to write their own check. That’s the power of leveraging yourself properly.

However, it doesn’t work like most people think it does. Most believe they go out there and recruit several business builders and they can sorta kick back and rake in the checks. Not true. The real key to making the power of leverage work in your business is to allow your current & future leaders to trust you and trust your every move.

One of the best ways I found that’s extremely effective is to openly be a guinea pig for myself and my team. It didn’t take long for them to realize that If I was putting my own wallet and time on the line, I had their best interests at heart.

They were confident I was watching out for what they needed…over time, this created an intense bond between my team builders and myself. I was the one who tested postcards, new websites, new sizzle messages…anything my team needed – I wanted to either lead the testing “crew” or be the testing crew myself.

When my team members needed something done, they called me. They knew that if it could get done, I was the most productive call they could make to make things happen.

I take a lot of pride in knowing that. It’s not something you should take for granted. Having such a meaningful leadership role is earned and should not be taken lightly.

It was a great way to put myself out on the front line and it really created a sense of trust and a bond between my associates and myself. Not only did I tell them that I’ve got their back, but I was showing it with my actions.

At the end of the day, mastering this allowed me to build a team of 1251 new associates in under 10 months in one organization and develop a 7-figure business in a completely different team.

That’s powerful.

When you can train a handful of others to do exactly what you’re doing or what you’ve done, you’ll create more loyalty, trust and dollars in your bank account than you know what to do with. Become a respected leader because your team counts on you – bringing leadership abilities to the table is priceless. Essentially, it’s your mission to make yourself irreplaceable. This is the best way I know of to make that happen.

Have you noticed all the hype coming through your inbox over the past several months?

I have and I think it’s pretty ridiculous. It seems like every few days we’re getting hit with latest biz-wang software that makes you piles of cash in your sleep, the best “new” way of spinning your articles and content and all sorts of crazy other stuff.

Most of the time they actually cause more HARM than good – cuz you spend time going through it only to find out you’ve wasted a bunch of your valuable time.

I’m going to share something you already know…

Your success is NOT defined by you buying the “latest and greatest” product that comes out of the pipeline.

Go back through the emails you’ve received over the past 2 weeks and identify the ones that provide you with value – the ones that helped you in one way or another.

Every few months I go through this same process. Right now I’m on around 20-25 different newsletters – by this time on Friday, I’ll have narrowed that down to a handful.

Success is about the choices you make and your ability to stick with them. It’s not about buying everything you see. That’s a GREAT way to get distracted. Distraction = nothing productive gets done.

I rarely sell products as an affiliate (I recently did a promo for Marlon Sanders – and I’m happy to associate my name with his products)…and when I do…the product must contain MASSIVE value. It makes no sense to put your name on a product for a few bucks short term – it’ll come back and bite you in the tail.

I don’t care about short term gain – it’s not a sustainable business model nor a productive way to build a business.

ALWAYS provide your list with meaningful, actionable content – not hype or opinion. When you focus on giving your list massive value, they’ll buy your stuff.

It doesn’t matter what market you’re in or what you’re promoting. When you run a good, clean business you’re building your reputation which is the single, most important asset that your business possesses.

If that gets destroyed, it’s VERY difficult to rebuild.

One way to take action QUICKLY: Find others in your same niche market, follow their content, pickup 2-3 of their products, devour them and study everything you can about this person.

Assuming they meet your criteria as one who’s credible, shares worthy content, has a loyal following and runs a solid business, shoot this person an email or call them and BEGIN the process of creating a relationship with him/her.

Ultimately, you’re looking for a long term relationship (over time, you’d like to have a handful of these, but start with one) to share lists, host webinars, market the other person’s products, etc.

You get the idea.

JV’s and sharing resources are the FASTEST way of creating a following and getting a name (and a following) for yourself.

This starts with relationship building. It’s the single fastest way I know of to generate A FLOOD of leads quickly. This can lead to JV’s, other solid relationships (people they introduce you to) and all sorts of cool things.

In closing, get rid of the distractions in your life. They’re draining, nonproductive uses of your time and ultimately slow down the process of you becoming successful.

Within the next 48 hours, reach out to 3 people in your niche market who you can start the process of building a relationship with. You may get zero responses…that’s OK…keep moving along. You may have to reach out to 10 different people to get 1-2 favorable responses.

The most important thing…GET THE BALL MOVING.

Submit a comment on their blog, try emailing them if they list a number on their website or blog, call them if they have a contact number…if not, go to whois.sc and plug their domain in – call the number it lists, send them a HAND WRITTEN snail mail letter to get their attention. There’s lots of ways to get their attention…”just do it”.

Anyway, I wanted to get these 2 points off my chest. I hope you found this useful.

Keep rockin’.

There’s a couple of really cool resources online that you should know about. Many people struggle with all the technical jibber-jabber, creating creative images, sites, WordPress themes/layouts…and all that stuff.

Here’s a few spots that you can get those done on THE CHEAP.

No joke…I had the image on my personal FB Page done for $5.00.

The ads that I’m using right now (and testing) for my affiliate program…guess what…I paid $5.00 for those images too (the crazy thing is that there’s more than 15 of them…that comes out to like .30 cents each!).

I also use these same resources below for another handful of niche areas I operate in online outside of the home business/IM industry.

You don’t have to pay a programmer $75 bucks an hour or more (and if you choose to outsource overseas, I hope you have a long time horizon and budget set aside until you find someone solid & reliable).

No more paying hundreds of dollars for banners, images, logos, etc…

Check out these places to get stuff done without breaking the bank…

www.www.zeerk.com

www.fiverr.com

www.fourerr.com

www.gigbucks.com

There’s a lot more too, but these are some that I’ve personally used.

Let me know what you get done so I can see!

Short and sweet today.

All the best,

Over the weekend my son hit me with a pretty bizarre question…completely out of the blue. I was in my home office working on a video and he strolls in (as he often does) and asks, “Daddy, can we go to China today?”

A bit taken back and not sure where it came from I said, “Son, it’s quite a ways away…we’re not packed or anything and there’s school tomorrow.”

To say the least, Grant didn’t like my response.

“But Daddy, we’ll just cross the bridge and we’ll get there. We can go to school the next day.”

He had a valid point…there’s always “another” school day. I changed the subject and told him I had to get some work done…so it was time to skedaddle and leave my office.

Well, 20 minutes later I head out back and he’s got a mini-shovel and informs me since we can’t drive, he’s decided to dig his way to China. Trying to hold back my laughter I told him it would take a whole lot a digging to get there.

His response, “Daddy, it’s OK, we’ve got all day…can you help me?”

Here’s a 3 year old, not knowing any better who was ready dig until he got to his destination. Motivated & determined he really didn’t care that daddy said that we couldn’t just get up and go…he was bound to find his own way.

When it comes to building a business, it helps to have the knowledge and know-how, but it’s FAR MORE IMPORTANT TO BE DETERMINED.

I know a lot of peeps who have more talent in their pinky than I could ever dream of having…but they lack determination. They “work” 3-4 days a month to get by and keep things afloat. Who knows what would happen if they worked daily…with conviction…relentlessly – they’d probably own their own islands, planes and anything they wanted.

Determination can move mountains. Period.

How hard are you willing to work to make it happen? How much blood, sweat and tears are you willing to trade to reach your goals and targets?

Those who are determined FIND A WAY TO GET THINGS DONE.

They may not be the brightest folks, they may not have the highest IQ, they may not have a whole lot of resources, but their SHEER WILL POWER is plenty sufficient.

Now, it’s pretty likely after some relatively short period of time, my son would have thrown down his shovel and called it a day, but the point here is that so often we get tied up into thinking “I don’t have the right tools…or the right resources to get the job done.”

DO NOT underestimate the power of the mind.

It’s INCREDIBLE and can CONQUER anything you set out to accomplish.

Yeah, it may sound a bit cliche…even a bit cheesy, but it’s the absolute truth.

Don’t cut yourself short and tell the “nay-sayers” to PERMANENTLY get out of your life. Remove the baggage…get rid of the extra weight and let your determination accomplish anything you set out to.

While we’re on the topic…

I just put up a pretty sweet short video for those who signed up for my affiliate program. There’s no cost to be part of it…if you’re determined to create a better future for yourself and those in your “circle of influence”, I’d love to have you as a partner.

Get the info here.

I also just “revamped” the “Partner Resource Center” with some cool images and other resources. Hey, If I don’t do my part and make your life as easy as possible to market my programs, I deserve to get fired. You still need to get out there and shake a leg, but I’ve armed you with all sorts of cool resources.

Check it out here.

Take care.

A couple of weeks ago I wrote a blog post discussing what I’ve termed “The Relationship Matrix”. In a nutshell, it’s a simple to follow system that shows you exactly how to build relationships online, establish trust and ultimately profit.

Since that post, I recognized we needed to dive in a bit deeper into this topic so people REALLY understand what’s at the core. Because of that, I’ve created a short report that literally outlines things step by step to better grasp what “The Relationship Matrix” is all about…

1. The Internet is becoming more and more TRANSPARENT on a DAILY basis.

2. The importance of building relationships and not just SELLING stuff online is more important now than ever before and this will only continue taking place.

3. Understanding that prospects become customers and buy your stuff because they KNOW and TRUST you.

4. The importance of becoming an EXPERT in your niche is more important now than ever before.

That’s what’s at the CORE of “The Relationship Expert” and that’s exactly why I created this report – I want you to learn from what’s taking place right now.

Knowledge + Application = Wealth

Enjoy. It’s a great read.

Also, I want to know your thoughts on it. Leave a comment below and share this post with your Facebook & Twitter friends!
