Ardyss Review: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

Ardyss Review: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

By Kristen S.

This is my unbiased Ardyss review.  I am not affiliated in any way with Ardyss.

Before continuing with this review if you’re serious about adding more new associates next month than you did during all of last year, read this report, “How To Create Your First 6 Figure Month In Network Marketing”.

Ardyss is originally a Mexican company that was started as “a new concept for corsetry, designed for reshaping the female figure.”  Yes, the original product line — and one of its current staples — is undergarments.  Currently the company offers both male and female undergarments and “shapewear,” in addition to skin care and nutritional items.

Although the original company was formed in the late 80′s to early 90′s (depending on which source you’re relying), the company moved and became based out of Las Vegas (and became Ardyss International as it is now known) in 2007.

The “Good”…

This company has a long history — it has been in business in some form for over 20 years — and longevity always qualifies as a “good” for me (and does here in this Ardyss review).  The management team gets a “good” by association based upon the longevity of this company.  Although the company in its current formation as Ardyss International has only been around for a few years, this aspect of the company is still getting a “good” from me in this Ardyss review.

Another “good” in terms of this Ardyss review is the compensation plan, and the company’s transparency in showing its compensation plan.  It seems to be well laid out on the company’s website.  I also found the company’s website, albeit not the best one I’ve seen, to be pretty easy to navigate.

My final “good” in this Ardyss review is something I am also going to put in the “bad” section as well.  That is the shapewear products themselves.  If you go online, you seem to see two polar opposite responses to this shapewear — either it works like a miracle or it is a piece of junk.  Having never tried any of the shapewear myself, I won’t venture to guess nor will I give an opinion.  Because of the 50% of the reviews that were raves, though, I am putting the product partially in the “good” section of my Ardyss review.

The “Bad”…

I am going to raise several “bads” in this Ardyss reviews which are not criticisms of the company, per se, but rather reflections of “issues” I read about this company in other reviews online.  I put them in the “bad” category here so that you are aware of them and can go out and check these things out yourself.

The first item I am going to put in the “bad” column are the products themselves (even though I also put that as a “good” in this Ardyss review).  In terms of the skin care and nutritional items, I barely read anything about them online. People who are talking about this company seem to be doing so primarily about the shapewear garments — which brings me to my second “bad”…

The majority of criticism I read about this company were related to two things: customer service issues (e.g., failure to refund and significant delivery delays) and efficacy issues on the shapewear itself.  I have never ordered anything from this company or any of its distributors, so I cannot comment on the truth of either of these.

The shapewear products are not inexpensive, and that could be noted as a “bad” for purposes of this Ardyss review.  My personal opinion about the price issue, however, is that if you know how to properly market this product then price is NO issue at all — and, in fact, sometimes marketing an MLM product with a higher price point can be an advantage if you know how to market it correctly.

The “Ugly”…

Continuing from my last paragraph, trying to market Ardyss without knowing and understanding the nuts and bolts of marketing will be a very tough journey — and one that most people will not be able to succeed at doing.  If you take the time to learn how marketing works, and how to get prospects to chase YOU instead of you having to convince others, then you can really prosper in this business.
