Xocai Review: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly
Xocai Review: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly
By Kristen S.
This is my unbiased Xocai review. I am not affiliated in any way with Xocai.
Before continuing with this review if you’re serious about adding more new associates next month than you did during all of last year, read this report, “How To Create Your First 6 Figure Month In Network Marketing”.
Xocai is a line of chocolate “health food” products. The premise is that the right kind of chocolate is very good for your health.
The “Good”…
Despite a number of questions raised in different reviews regarding the quality of the ingredients, the amount of antioxidants actually included in this chocolate, the amount and type of sugar used and the cost of the product etc, the bottom line is that this product line revolves around selling chocolate. If there was ever an “easy sell” hook on health food, this should surely be it. Thus, the products themselves are going in the “good” section of this Xocai review.
Further, items like price can be easily overcome as a customer objection when you know how to market properly. When you learn how to market the right way — so that you have people chasing you wanting to get into your business instead of you chasing others — these items are no longer an issue.
I am also going to put the compensation plan in the “good” section of my Xocai review. It is comparable to a number of others used by other network marketing companies. Further, and despite some issues with the user friendliness of the company’s website, the comp plan is clearly laid out.
The “Bad”…
One “bad” I feel the need to include in this Xocai review are my thoughts on the company’s website. It is not exceptionally easy to navigate, and the pages did not load well either. Having said that, I have an asterisk to this comment. Anyone who understands how to market this company — and to market network marketing companies in general — can do so successfully without this being a factor in any way. In fact, it is ill-advised for people to use company (replicated) websites as part of their marketing plan. You want to market YOU, not the company.
I am also going to list the management team in the “bad” category in this Xocai review NOT because they necessarily are bad, but because I read a lot of things online questioning the founder, Jeanette L. Brooks’, business track record. Having said that, this relatively young company seems to be humming along without bouncing any checks, so maybe Ms. Brooks has found her niche.
Further, for all of the negative comments I read about Ms. Brooks, I also found positive references about her saying things like, “It’s important to note that the founders of Xocai are established retail business people. Their previous chocolate business achieved over $300 million in retail sales. It’s also impressive that the company is completely debt free and now experiencing growth in Canada, Australia, Japan, South Africa and several countries in Europe.” I will leave this contradictory information with you to decide which story is the real truth.
The “Ugly”…
As with any network marketing company — even the best network marketing companies with the best products and the best comp plans — simply “joining” the business will never be enough to achieve success. The “ugly” thing about this company in terms of this Xocai review, is that without learning the right way to market it, you are very likely to fall into the majority of people who fail in network marketing businesses.
People who follow the “conventional wisdom” taught by most MLM companies, that has you chasing and twisting the arms of your friends, family and co-workers, are on a very difficult path in terms of success in this business. You want to know how to be the hunted instead of the hunter, and how to have an abundance of leads chasing YOU. It is absolutely possible to succeed, and in fact to make big profits, but first you must learn how to properly market.
