Dear Terry, I’ve been tracking your e-mails and it’s high time I drop a short to compliment you on the fine job you do. I’m learning about the business, picked up a couple books – the “10 Napkin Presentation” book is perfect for beginners such as myself. After 15 years in the airline industry, climbing the corp. ladder, I faced disappointment and personal heartache as I loved what was doing. After realizing the turbulance wasn’t smoothing out I received my last pay check and never again heard from the airline I commited myself to. That’s enough! I’m going to build a business. I shall most likely be tugging on your shirt sleeve here soon. Let’s stay close. Good day sir- Christopher.

Hi Christopher,

Greatly appreciate the note. I can understand where you’re at – keep your head in the game. Success is a choice that anyone can equally make, regardless of their circumstance. This comes down to making that choice…then applying the right information.

Grab Scientific Advertising (Claude Hopkins) as well as Changing The Channel (Michael Masterson/Maryellen Tribby) – both are great books to get your head in the game and begin studying what direct response marketing is really all about.

Enjoy your weekend.

Hi Terri,

Love your site. Great content. I ordered your “How to become a recruiting machine” $47 package last week. When should I expect to receive it?

Thanks,

Esther

Hi Esther,

Just sent you the link – thanks!

Terry Wunsch February 25, 2010 at 11:36 AM

Hey Terry,
I want to thank you for some great tips on your blog. I think even a non techie like me
can understand. I was in MLM for about 20yrs with little success, getting all the wrong
advise, 3ways,meetings, talk to friends & family, the old school way. I believe I have
finally found the right company but there is no product to sell, we simply switch people
to our electric company. What system would you recommend I use to build my business.
Thanks
Terry Wunsch

Christopher Lee February 26, 2010 at 3:26 PM

I am currently with an affiliate marketing program. Will I receive guidance on how to sell those products as well as yours? Could the methods that you utilized to go from 0-1251 be applied to affiliate marketing?

tduff February 27, 2010 at 1:08 AM

Hi Christopher,

The short answer is “yes” – marketing is marketing…is marketing. At the end of the day, your objectives are the same. Build a list, create a relationship with those prospects – create offers that solve a problem they have. As marketers, if we’re not “moving” products and solving problems that others have we’re not getting paid – regardless of the nature of the business model.

Enjoy your weekend.

Nick February 27, 2010 at 3:42 AM

Terry,

I am a full time in my MLM business. I’ve had ups and downs with the traditional forms that the company teaches with home meetings etc. You say it flat out don’t work and that’s not true, however I do believe that it is not enough to build large and fast. I usually avoid online marketers because they create to much doubt in regards to doing your business the traditional way and your no different in that aspect but I’m not saying that what you teach doesn’t work or work better and that’s why I want to talk with you because we can do business in 20 countries and all 50 states and I’m in 23 states and canada but I’d like to expidite my growth.

What MLM business are you in? You should be one of the top if not the top money earner in your company if what you do works. I can’t imagine you would not actually use your own techniques to reach the top of a MLM company. I have my guard up about your techniques and ultimately feel that anyone who sales online marketing to the masses or all MLM networkers is making a killing on that alone and not so much a top producer of an actual MLM company. I hope I’m wrong about that, I’d like to hear what you have to say.

tduff February 27, 2010 at 4:33 AM

Hi Nick,

Understand where you’re coming from. I try to be clear (but perhaps it always doesn’t take place), that there are a lot of ways to build a business. The question comes down to does one want to take several years…or several months. Knowledge and education are key to reducing the time it takes to build a sizable organization – whether it’s in network marketing, affiliate marketing or a “traditional” business.

One can build a business doing in person meetings…added countless people in that fashion, but one still needs to learn how to build a substantial audience – then focus on their deliver to put 20+ % of that audience into their business. Belly to belly, face to face is terribly slow, but can build a business – over years. Most aren’t looking for that time frame.

Yes, I do build a few different enterprises – not out to cross recruit, so I don’t promote on this platform, but some of my videos do have screen shots of growth within that business.

Skepticism is a sign of intelligence – whether you learn here or from numerous sources (which is ideal), knowledge is key.

** Note: I deliberately removed your number from your post for privacy reasons.

Best,

Terry

Christopher Lee February 27, 2010 at 2:43 PM

Thank you for the response to my question it crystalizes everything. I don’t believe that I received a confirmation e-mail after my opt-in for your affiliate program.

tduff February 27, 2010 at 8:04 PM

Christopher, making some tweaks to the aff program – stay tuned.

Hi Terry! I’m so excited about learning from you! I really appreciate the work that you are doing. It’s totally needed. I just ordered “How to Become a Recruiting Machine”. I’m having problems downloading the MP3 files. They are just huge. Do you perhaps have these items in a different form – say perhaps CD?

Christopher Lee March 1, 2010 at 3:35 PM

Can your products and services benefit a novice internet entrepreneur?

tduff March 1, 2010 at 9:01 PM

Hi Christopher,

The short answer is everyone is learning, starting from a different point – we do our best to ensure we’re meeting the masses with products and that means to start at a clean slate from a technical standpoint. You can also email support for assistance as well if you hit a brick wall.

Thanks!

Terry

tduff March 1, 2010 at 9:03 PM

Taneisha, I’m excited to help you down this awesome journey. I hope my prior email resolved the issue – if not, please let me know.

Can your affiliate products be advertised on the websites such as pulse360.com,adbrite.com, or adsonar.com that you have used to bring in traffic?

Will there be any guidance on what type of sales copy to use to promote the products?

Would an Ezine Solo Ad be effective?

tduff March 10, 2010 at 8:24 AM

The short answer is “yes”, however, I am making some tweaks to the aff program. Currently, it’s not live, but I’ll let you know when it is.

Yes, you’ll have the sales copy, banners to advertise, PPC ads and other tools to help you generate sales and most importantly, help others find relevant products to help them solve their problems.

Best,

Terry

Christopher Lee March 10, 2010 at 10:12 AM

Thank You. I look forward to partnering wth you. I know these products can provide effective solutions.

Christopher Lee March 17, 2010 at 11:50 AM

In viewing your video on how to recruit 1251 in less than 10 months you referenced product buyer files. How and where does one purchase these files? How many names come on such files? Can such a file be purchased in regards to those who have made purchases in various niches on the internet?

tduff March 17, 2010 at 10:11 PM

I will create a post that dives deeper into this topic – there’s a lot of information that would be needed to share for it to make sense and really sync in. As with any lead…it’s not the lead that makes the campaign…it’s the marketer and other variables of the system that makes it work.

Product buyer files are available in practically any niche available…these are essentially people that have purchased something that provides a similar benefit as a result of seeing an infomercial.

Cheers.

Is the PPC for Adbrite more , less, or equally as competitve Google?

tduff March 29, 2010 at 8:10 PM

Very different platforms, but the short answer is that Adwords is substantially more competitive.

DEW March 29, 2010 at 9:51 PM

Good morning Terry, I would like to contact you directly is possible. I am going through your become a recruiting machine info. Great stuff. Thanks

Scott April 20, 2010 at 9:52 PM

Terry,

Brother and I just started ACN 45 days ago. I believe in power of residual income but not in the marketing approach. People are burned out on MLM and have negative preconceptions
that are tough to overcome.

Do you have a specific strategy for building services as well as reps that brings qualified
individuals to you?

tduff April 20, 2010 at 10:13 PM

Scott,

Study everything you can on direct response marketing – become a sponge. Information/knowledge really is the key to building a successful business. This is a business of leveraging and creating a system that brings the prospects to you so you’re not twisting arms or convincing others.

You got involved with ACN for a reason – take the time & investment to educate yourself on how to build a team.

Best,

Terry

Can I attact patients to my site with the technique u are using for multi-level marketing?

tduff May 7, 2010 at 5:26 AM

Hi Pearline,

The short answer is “yes” – one can use the same traffic techniques regardless of the products/services that are being provided.

Cheers,

Kim Risley June 13, 2010 at 4:36 AM

Dear Terry,

I just started in the MLM business. We have been taking some health products for 3 years now. I just decided to promote it. The company is small, only less then 1500 people on these products. Plus the people that are promoting it is not every high. I just signed up my second person. Which I may add that I didn’t have any contact with this person! They just signed up under my website. :-) But I would like to reproduce that many times over.

My whole ideal is to get people on these products and if the wish to do there own down line thats great. But I’m promoting these products as a health benefit 1st. I have signed up for your $47 dollar program and called you voice mail. I hope to hear from you soon. I’m looking to gain as much knowledge as possible on this, My husband and I will be getting survey done also.

Glad you’re “in the game” – it’s a fun one to play in.

I’ll be in touch early next week & thanks for taking the survey. :)

You are full of BS and the wrong direction you are giving
people is taking many out of the industry!

(website link removed by moderator)

tduff June 22, 2010 at 12:35 AM

@ Jennifer,

You are correct…some people (ahem), have to go to blogs promoting their thoughts and use an asset that that doesn’t belong to them to promote their own “stuff”.

I can only assume that’s the “BS” you were referring to.

Terry

Hey Terry,

Just wanted to say thanks again for the information you share in your mailouts. I really learn something neat each time I take time to read one, and I so appreciate that. I am in a MLM business but haven’t taken the plunge yet to buy your program. I feel overwhelmed just reading all the bonuses that I get with the system. I am trying to build a business and would much rather have a real book to carry around and read and reread. Have you ever published in book form? By the way. I love the new photo on this page. The big smile makes you a much more trustworthy leader than the photo on the page I usually get. Just thought you might like to know that those things really have an effect ;)

Sarah XX

tduff June 30, 2010 at 9:49 PM

@ Sarah,

Glad you’re enjoying the info. I do have published books in different industries – none in network marketing other than PDF’s. Regardless of how you get “educated”, begin the exciting journey – knowledge really is “king” and the difference between success/failure.

Hello Terry,
I just started an Herbalife Distributorship on 06/10. I went to my first event on Saturday 7/31. Your free report “First 6 Figure Month in Network Marketing” Confirmed what I felt. Smoke and Mirrors, the Rah-Rah-Rah-Sis-Boom-Bah fake chant, positioning and the control of their downlines. Fortunately I like the products. I would like to create a downline, without the hipocrisy. Here is my contact information on (removed by moderator).

Best regards,

Pedro Villa

tduff August 4, 2010 at 2:22 AM

Pedro,

Was a pleasure speaking w/ you.

Good company…they do the cheerleading for a reason. If they can’t keep unprofitable distributors excited…they know you’ll drop out. Study direct response marketing…become a student of the business. Most importantly, never give up on YOU.

Hi Terry

I want to start recruiting 20+ reps per month using the internet and other sources, however more interested in the net. If I purchase ‘How to become a recruiting machine’ or ‘lead tsunami’, will this tell me in depth everything i need to know to acheive this goal? Can i do it with just that information alone or is there any extra costs?

I am from Australia and not sure whether you can contact me, but i would like a consultation. If you could tell me how to do this by e-mail that would be great.

Thank you for your time!
